Day 4 – Woody Invasives
What are woody invasives? Woody invasives are noxious weeds in the form of shrubs or trees. The Montana Department of Agriculture has three woody invasive species identified on the state noxious weed list. Common Buckthorn (2A) and Saltcedar (2B) are state listed and Russian Olive (3) is state regulated. For Day 4 of MNWAW, we will be learning about these three woody species. Use these resources to learn something new and/or as a way to promote and distribute information to your constituents, family, friends, and neighbors.
