Noxious Weed Specialist MT Dept of Agriculture – open until filled
Position responsibilities include functioning as the Noxious Weed Free Materials Coordinator and as the staff person to the Noxious Weed Seed Free Forage Advisory Council. Oversees program operations; conducts inspections and investigations; and provides training and education to governmental agencies, the farming/ranching community, and others interested in the program.

|Details:||This is a Full-time, Permanent, Supervisory position and will require the ability to work a flexible schedule to include some weekends to meet the need of the department.|
|Directly supervises a group of subordinate employees, including hiring and training, assigning work, measuring results, taking corrective action, and completing human resources functions such as performance reviews.|
Objectives: Develop, implement and maintain a weed management program for Madison County that includes administration, public education, and weed prevention and control.
