QUICK IDENTIFICATION

  • Aquatic plant, incredibly invasive
  • First pondweed to come up in spring and to die back in mid-summer
  • 2 – 3 inch blue-green leaves; wavy along the edges
  • Leaves stiff and crinkled; approximately 1/2-inch wide and 2 – 3 inches long
  • Height 1 to 3 feet
