Noxious weeds, in particular the invasive salt cedar or Tamerisk, are featured with Russell Nemitz on the Northern Ag network in this video. This particular plant is a beautiful ornamental still planted by some, however if it gets established near a waterway it can be extremely destructive. The plant has been reputed to take up to 200 gallons of water a day and it also unleashes excessive salt into the soils around it. You can read more about this plant here.
