Spring 2026 MT EDRR Webinar Coming Soon

Please join the Spring 2026 MT EDRR Webinar with Utah State University’s Maloree McDonald and Dr. Corey Ransom at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 11.

Dr. Ransom and Maloree will be presenting on the Utah experience with dyer’s woad and rush skeletonweed, along with their associated research. Dyer’s woad and rush skeletonweed are designated Class 2 weeds in Utah, analogous to Montana’s Priority 2A, a class that includes species like leafy spurge, spotted and diffuse knapweed, and Dalmatian and yellow toadflax. Dr. Ransom has long been a big name in weed science, research, and education, with experience and knowledge any of us should admire. Maloree is newer in the weed management world but has already taken part in compelling and important research and is working to make connections critical to Montana. They are western state partners with similar weed issues who are a real pleasure to interact with, and both are doing work beneficial to our state, work that we need to learn from.
