MWCA Membership rates and levels to change July 1

After at least 10 years, MWCA is changing up membership levels and pricing. This change is a part of the overall strategic planning that is happening within the MWCA. Currently, MWCA has at least 7 levels of membership and with the new changes it will drop down to 4.

Membership levels that were approved by the MWCA Board of Directors are as follows and will go into effect on July 1, 2021:

Individual membership – $40

Group membership – $300

Silver business membership – $150 (includes 2 memberships, listing in MWCA directory, Weed Times magazine and MWCA website- MWCA creates the business sized card)

Gold business membership – $500 (includes 3 memberships, listing in MWCA directory, Weed Times magazine and MWCA website (MWCA creates the ΒΌ page sized ad) and also includes recognition at MWCA weed manager trainings and in annual conference proceedings. Gold members will also receive 10 complementary calendars and 3 directories.

Members who have renewed in 2021 will remain at their current level until next year. Memberships are based on one calendar year from the time payment for dues is received.

In addition to the membership changes, MWCA is moving it’s database from Neon CRM systems to Association Sphere. Neon was primarily developed for donations and volunteers and Association Sphere will allow for much easier user interface as it is a software written and established for membership associations. All members will be receiving new information regarding these changes in June.

The Implementation Work Group and MWCA Board are working on development of an honorary member criteria as well.
