I would like to introduce myself as the new Noxious Weed Trust Fund Grant Coordinator. I grew up just outside of Great Falls in a small town called Sand Coulee in a family of 5 with 2 older sisters. I graduate from Carroll College and knew I wanted to make Helena my home. My first job was as a mental health case manager for 4 years, then was hired by the City of Helena as a code enforcement officer and managed city properties for noxious weeds. Over the last 12 years with the city, I began to really enjoy the challenge of weed management and all the situations it presented; which brings me to my new position with the Department of Agriculture.
I enjoy being outdoors whether hiking, backpacking, fishing, or hunting. I have played and coached softball, and recently found enjoyment in playing roller derby. I love animals and have 2 foster kitties and a dog.
Just completed my first week and hit the ground running doing site visits and begun familiarizing myself with grant projects. I look forward to learning about your programs and working with you in the future.
