Yellowflag iris (Iris pseudacorus) is a very adaptable invasive species found in wetlands and waters.  It currently is found in limited areas and we are hoping to keep it that way. Unfortunately when it goes to seed, the seeds almost all produce new plants, as they are 99% viable. With all the flooding that has gone on in the last 12 months, this invader may have been spread by flood waters.  Keep your eyes open for this plant in new places this year.
