Update on Ft. Peck and Eurasian Water Milfoil from the Corps of Engineers

The Corps of Engineers along with the Corps Engineering Research and Development Center, and Clean Lakes Inc. will be conducting our trial herbicide applications at the Fort Peck Project From August 16th, 2012 through August 25, 2012.  Sites selected include one application to the 1st dredge (to include a turbidity barrier) and 2 applications at Rock Creek.

Chemicals selected for this application include Triclopyr and Endothall.  We will be monitoring up to 72 hours after treatment.  Anyone interested in observing or assisting with post application monitoring is invited.

There will also be a public information meeting on August 7th at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center at 1:00p.m. This will be our 3rd meeting this year.
